About Andrew
Hello and welcome to DriveWise! My name is Andrew, and I’ve been helping learners like you steer their way to driving success for over a decade. Born and raised in the beautiful Neath Port Talbot area, I am deeply familiar with our local roads and the best spots for practicing every driving skills, from parallel parking to mastering merges.
I started DriveWise with a simple mission: to provide personalized, stress-free driving lessons that are designed to fit each student’s pace and style of learning. Whether you are getting behind the wheel for the first time or you’re back for a refresher course, my goal is to make sure you drive away with confidence and a smile.
Driving is a skill for life, and my approach is all about making the learning process enjoyable and comprehensive. What car do you teach in?
You’ll be taking the wheel of a modern, petrol, manual shift Peugeot 208 equipped with dual controls. This setup not only ensures a comfortable driving experience but also provides the safety features necessary for learners of all levels. It’s the perfect vehicle to build your driving confidence and sharpen those manual driving skills.
What areas do you cover?
I primarily serve learners within the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot areas of South Wales, specifically the following post codes:

What test centre do you cover?
I exclusively cover tests conducted at the Swansea Test Centre of the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). The centre is conveniently located just off the McDonald’s junction on Fabian Way (SA1 8RB).
What do I need to get started with my driving lessons?
To begin driving lessons with DriveWise, you’ll need a valid provisional driving licence and a basic understanding of road signs and rules, which you can study from the Highway Code available online or at bookstores.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow easy operation of the pedals, and if you wear glasses or contacts, bring them to meet the vision requirements for driving.
